Take supreme command of one of up to eight factions from the Star Trek universe — from the Federation to the Klingons and Romulans all the way to the Borg. Explore unknown sectors, establish colonies, build starbases, and develop your faction into the dominant power in the Alpha Quadrant.

You're nearly as free as in a pen-and-paper RPG: forge alliances and break them. Bribe opponents, bluff during negotiations, or let your weapons do the talking. Because the golden rule of Conquest Alpha is: Everything is negotiable.

Each faction plays fundamentally differently — the Vulcans research, the Klingons destroy, the Ferengi trade. Faction-specific behavior is rewarded with reputation points, but ultimately you decide which path to take.

Three game modes ensure the right entry point: Cadet Mode is ideal for beginners, Captain Mode offers the full depth with planetary upgrades, fleet management, and card purchasing, and Admiral Mode adds additional strategic nuances for experienced groups.
