Star Trek - Conquest Alpha
The epic 4X board game that finally does the Star Trek universe justice.

Conquest Alpha isn't yet another space game that happens to have "Star Trek" on the box. It is Star Trek: at heart, in detail, in design, in humor, in mechanics. Eight years of development by two Trekkies who poured their love and energy into a board game that aspires to do justice to the universe in all its facets. For fans who recognize every nod, and for everyone who values a game with real depth and love for detail.
Forget everything you've seen in Star Trek board games up to now. If you want the feel of the shows and movies (diplomacy, betrayal, exploration, epic space battles) on your table in a single evening, and you're looking for a gaming experience you'll remember for a long, long time, there's simply no way around Conquest Alpha. Here you are the admiral of your fleet: you decide when shields are raised, when torpedoes are fired, when you evade, and when it's better to retreat. Battles full of decisions, a steep learning curve, and pure nail-biting tension.
Conquest Alpha sits halfway between a classic board game and a roleplaying game. There are no predetermined paths, no "this is how it has to go" mentality: you decide how to interpret and play your faction. But every faction brings its own identity, and acting in line with that identity earns you Victory Points: Klingons who fight. Vulcans who research. Ferengi who haggle. If you want to win, you lean into your faction's nature. How you play it out remains your own story.

Eight factions, eight playstyles
In Conquest Alpha, every faction is massively asymmetric - unique ship types, unique strengths, unique paths to victory. No generic races with different colors on the board edge. Many factions even come with completely unique mechanics to deliver their very specific feel at the table.
Starfleet
Diplomacy, research, and the most versatile fleet in the galaxy.
Starfleet plays the way you know it from the shows: exploratory, colonizing, mediating. While other factions usually have to make do with four similarly-equipped ships, the Federation fleet is broader and more versatile - more ships, more roles, more room for your strategy.
- Up to 5 ships in play at once - each with its own profile and significantly more range than other fleets
- Yorktown Space Colony: a full-fledged colony that doesn't depend on a planet - you build it anywhere in space where you need it
- Through special planetary upgrades you develop toward diplomacy ("Diplomatic Corps") or military might ("Section 31 HQ") - whatever the game calls for
